MY OTTAWA IV  40m  Valuation Survey

Taking into consideration that the estimated residual value of a yacht could serve many different objectives, the surveyor’s assessment and opinion will be only guided by precise parameters within the following scopes and limited to:
Yacht/Boat’s pedigree (Designer/Naval Architect/Builder) – Year of Build & Construction Material – Type and Recorded Performances – Maintenance History – If Built Under Class Society and if still in Class – Last Class Inspection ashore – General overall condition and a few more keynotes will enable the Surveyor to assess independently, from any market value comparison of a similar or look-a-like vessel with same dimensions, the estimated value of the surveyed vessel;
 

Valuation Survey Limited Validity and Uses

A Valuation survey report is at no time binding the surveyor’s assessment responsibility before any jurisdictions, it’s made and declared in good faith upon the Surveyor’s knowledge and expertise; however it may serve under all reserves of rights under non-binding obligations for guidance purposes only to: Insurance Companies – Financing or Mortgaging Entities – Maritime Liens and others encumbrances only when and if required by the flagging State – “As Is – Where Is” condition for blind acquisition; Report’s validity and performance is limited to One Week (Seven Days Only) from the date of issue or remittance to the applicant might serve as a valid instrument;
